State Council supervision & inspection of the IP protection campaign

State Council has launched a one-month supervision & inspection of the nationwide IP protection campaign to highlight rectification in the protection of Intellectual Property. Said by an official in charge of the National Office of Rectification and Standardization of Market Economic Order, under the leading of the Office for the National Working Group on IP Protection, 7 working groups have betaken supervision and inspection in 15 key area such as Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Shangdong and Henan. This campaign is emphasized to highlight rectification in the protection of trademark rights, copyrights and patents, and tightened control in the "key linkages" such as imports and exports, exhibitions, wholesale markets, printing and duplication business. The protection campaign has distinct emphasized 15 key areas, and the campaign will last until the end of 2005.
